PROJECT WEEK IN HUNGARY
As a greeting the first partners to arrive were shown around in the historical centre of Budapest before travelling to Balatonfüred where they stayed for some days.
Some events of the week
Although some partners joined the meeting later, everybody could experience the Hungarian spirit and take part in summarizing the project results. The organisers planned an introduction to the area around Lake Balaton and tried to combine excursions with culinary discoveries and team-building activities.
Beside working on the final report and evaluation , representatives of the partner countries could try their limits by hiking, rowing in a cave lake and in a dragon boat.
As Balaton Upland Natural Park Organisation has numerous places to visit, some meetings were held outside, in nature conservation areas.
By visiting producers, a herb exhibition, cellars, a distillery, some restaurants and the oldest settlements of that historical wine region the organisers intended the partners to be introduced into an ongoing process of sustainable landscape managing and tourism.
During the project week the participants summmarised the achievements, evaluated and shared their experiences of meetings in different countries, gave presentations of their curricula, made decisions on the content of project website and prepared for disseminating the project results. Possibilities of new ways of cooperation, future partnerships, finding training companies for EU-founded internships and Erasmus+ job-shadowing opportunities were discussed as well.
Lastly, but more importantly the partners strengthened confidence in shaping our future in many different ways.
